Experience Work in Tranquility aboard Yachts

The vast majority of professionals now expect remote work to become the new normal, with benefits including the ability to work anywhere, without the need to commute or get dressed up. Remote working allows you to pursue your personal passions, while still having a fulfilling job that satisfies your soul. With more attention given to mental health, the idea of working in tranquility translates to a lot more benefits not just for employees but for employers as well.

The way we work has really taken a turn, hasn't it? Thanks to this whole pandemic situation, we've learned that you don't always need to be in the same room with your work buddies to get things done. The magic of global connectivity, better video calls, and all those nifty online collaboration tools have shown us that we can kick butt even if our team is scattered all over the globe. Of course, not every job can go online – think physical retail, F&B, hospitality, and the folks building stuff. But for many companies, going remote is the way to go.

Now, picture this: you're in one of those jobs that can go wherever the internet reaches. Imagine working from your own fancy yacht, surrounded by nature, sipping on a tasty cocktail, and taking a dip whenever you feel like it – during breaks or the second your work hours are done.

And what about the internet in the middle of the ocean, you ask? Well, enter Starlink, the brainchild of Elon Musk's SpaceX. It's this cool satellite internet thing with a bunch of tiny satellites in low Earth orbit. Fast speeds, loads of data, and low lag time – perfect for getting online in the middle of nowhere. Plus, it's a breeze to set up, and it won't break the bank, starting at just $110 a month. Not too shabby for staying connected while you're out there sailing the high seas. The way we work sure has come a long way, hasn't it?

Work to Live instead of Live to Work

Working for a company and making a career can be an extremely time-consuming duty for any office worker. Employees are busy at their offices throughout the day and sometimes even on weekends. Most people work 8 hours per day, 40 hours a week, and more than 2,000 hours per year with only 2 weeks of holiday. Some people even clock in way more hours than that. Before being able to really enjoy your time off from work, it is back to the grind again. We believe that we ought to work to live, not live to work. We need to find that balance and get connected with ourselves, our loved ones, and nature at the same time.

Why are we championing ocean living? We are in fact advocating greater productivity and creativity as you work from a very peaceful space with little air or noise pollution as compared to the city. Read up on our other write-up about the benefits of ocean living.

Working from the ocean lets you work in tranquility. Gazing out into blue calming waters whenever you need a break, the reflection of the sunset brushing over the waves as your after-work view every day. Take in fresh air and listen to the soothing sound of waves, all without neglecting your responsibilities. This added relaxation helps reduce cortisol levels lowers stress levels and elevates dopamine levels, making you a happier person. Your company or your business will benefit further from your refined state of mind.
